Every year at Christmas time the volunteers donate money to the Adopt a Family program run by the Salvation Army. The parent is contacted and asked to supply a list of gifts that the children and themselves would like to receive. This certainly is a rewarding program, which ensures that all children will receive something from Santa no matter how tight the money is.
