- Red Deer County is divided into seven districts, operating from ten stations, and employs one full time District Fire Chief and administration personnel.
- The Red Deer Rural Fire district is a direct control operation with five stations and approximately 65 volunteer fire fighters.
- Outside the Red Deer fire district the county maintains agreements for fire services with:
