Providing Fire Prevention and Fire Suppression to the public that live, work, and pass through Red Deer County. Population 18,639.


  • Red Deer County is divided into seven districts, operating from ten stations, and employs one full time District Fire Chief and administration personnel.

  • The Red Deer Rural Fire district is a direct control operation with five stations and approximately 65 volunteer fire fighters.

  • Outside the Red Deer fire district the county maintains agreements for fire services with:

    Includes Town and Assoc.

    Delburne Village of Delburne 17 Volunteers


  • The County maintains an agreement with the City of Red Deer on an as required basis for delivery of Fire and Rescue Mutual Aid Services.
